The 2nd line has all your arena targeting but if you’re not in an arena it gets GCD blocked by the first line. Otherwise it casts using whatever conditions you have set. PS: help and harm imply exists so you never need more than one for a given test.Īs for making macros that function one way in arenas and another outside of them this is the most elegant solution I’ve found #showtooltipīasically the first line checks if arena1 exists, and if it does then does nothing. and if you code things properly you should never need to use nomodĪlways put the most complex conditions first. The syntax to use 2 modifiers at once is mod:altctrl etc. Looking forward to finding a way to finally make this game playable. Simply having 12 arena macros on the main action bar set #2 with identical spells on different macros on set #1 doesn’t cut it. I macro almost all of my abilities that can be cast on a target. How did you make it so you could press shift to cast a spell at your mouseover target, unless you’re in an arena (or party, such as for macro4)? So that you cast your spell if holding shift+keybind. What have you or your friends come up with that allows you to play the game the way you want inside and out of the arena? How have you done this without having to juggle failing addons, staying within the character limit without becoming convoluted? I don’t want to muddy the issue with my specific macros. (Macro #4,keypress “F” Holy Shock on friendly targets - Essentially this macro, though it may not be written properly. This way you could switch action bars with a keybind, thus changing the available macro on the actionbarbutton# to click. But perhaps it would require a click action button macro on the main action bar. Macro 1 and 2 should be they same keypress. (For MACRO #2:keypress “R”)In the arena I want to Holy shock arena target 1,2 or 3 with mods shift, alt & ctrl. Pressing the macro above presses the actionbarslot where this macro is seated. This is what is on ActionButton9 - This is on a action button without a keybind. I would have it that if I was exploring and I wanted to cast Holy Shock on an enemy it would read as Macro #1:Keypress "R". I’ve been trying with no luck to form macros for arena vs everywhere else.
